Growth of 2.3% in the third quarter in the US

Slight rise presented by final measurement of GDP of United States for third quarter of 2021.

The US Department of Commerce announced that the country’s economy ran at a rate of 2.3% in the third quarter compared to the second.

Analysts expected a growth of 2.1%, as much as the previous measurement.

The US economy grew by 6.7% in the second quarter.

Economists told Reuters that US GDP could run at 5.6% this year, reaching a 37-year high.

In 2020, the country’s economy shrank by 3.4%.
