D. Trump: Appeals to the Supreme Court not to publish files on the Capitol attack

0

THE former US President Donald Trump appealed today at Supreme Court asking him ban the publication of White House files, requested by a committee of the House of Representatives investigating attack on January 6 at the Capitol.

Two weeks ago, the District Court of the District of Columbia ruled that there was no legal basis to challenge the President’s decision. Joe Biden allow the delivery of documents. The execution of this decision is postponed until the Supreme Court rules on the matter.

Biden believed that the files, which belong to the executive branch of power, were not subject to the rule of secrecy of certain internal documents of the White House and their delivery to Congress was in the interest of the nation.
