Great Britain: The message of Queen Elizabeth

THE Queen Elizabeth, is expected to send a very personal message, for Christmas day, as she prepares for her first festive season, after his death Duke of Edinburgh.

The Buckingham Palace, released a photo of the monarch, taken during the recording of her annual celebratory speech, which will be broadcast tomorrow at 3 p.m., showing her sitting behind a desk in White Drawing Room, at Windsor Castle.

The palace never publishes details of what the monarch is going to say in the run-up to Christmas, but the subject and words are always carefully chosen by the queen herself, with the help of her staff.

On Monday, the palace confirmed that the queen would not make her annual trip to Sandringham, this Christmas and instead would stay in Windsor for the second consecutive year due to the spread of the new Omicron mutation.
