Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew: He tested positive for the coronavirus


Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew was diagnosed with a coronavirus today, as part of the regular diagnostic tests performed in Fanari.

According to the announcement of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, His Holiness, who is fully vaccinated, is currently displaying mild symptoms and his general condition is good.

Immediately after the diagnosis he visited the central hospital of the city for further preventive examinations.

The Ecumenical Patriarch sends his thanks to all those who express their interest in his state of health and paternally urges, once again, everyone to follow the recommendations of doctors and specialists, as well as those who do not have still vaccinated to do so for the good of themselves and society as a whole.

On this occasion he wishes everyone well Blessed Christmas.
