Erdogan wishes Bartholomew a speedy recovery from coronavirus


Warm wishes for a speedy recovery from the coronavirus were sent by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

The wishes were conveyed by the Turkish Minister of Health, who contacted him.

The warm wishes of Ex. The President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdo Erdoganan, for a speedy recovery sent to A.T. His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomew, the Minister of Health of the country Ex. Dr. Fahrettin Koca, in a telephone conversation they had on the night of Friday, December 24, 2021. Mr. Koca conveyed to His Holiness, who remains under observation at the Central Hospital of the City, the interest of Ex. President and himself personally for the course of his health and assured him that the country’s authorities are on his side for whatever is needed.

The Ecumenical Patriarch was contacted earlier by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Ex. Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who expressed his heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery of his health.
