France: ICUs fill up in Paris – Emergency decongestion plan launched


The λle-de-France region of France announced today that all its hospitals are activating an emergency plan, due to the great pressure they are under with Covid-19.

The plan includes increasing the number of beds in the intensive care unit and, if necessary, reprogramming the treatments to free up capacity.

With more than 12,000,000 inhabitants, Ile-de-France, with its capital Paris, is the largest region in France.
