Johnson and Erdogan talk on the phone about Ukraine


British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today discussed their main concern about the deployment of Russian troops on Ukraine’s border.

“They shared serious concerns about the deployment of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border and underlined NATO’s collective determination to avoid further escalation,” a statement from London said.

“They pledged to continue working through NATO to find a solution.”

The two leaders also discussed further strengthening bilateral co-operation Turkey and Of Britain security and defense, as well as the desire to boost trade and investment.
