Sixty people were killed on Saturday at bombing of a school in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine, said today Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Just yesterday, in the village of Bilohorivka, in the Luhansk region, a Russian bomb killed 60 civilians,” Zelensky told a teleconference conference of G7 leaders.
Buses transported civilians from Mariupol and Azofstal to Zaporizhia
A bus convoy carrying more than 170 civilians from Mariupol arrived in the Ukrainian-controlled city of Zaporizhia tonight, foreign news agency reporters reported.
Among those people were about 40 who were evacuated from the Azofstal steel plant.
A total of 174 civilians arrived in Zaporizhia by eight buses “from the outskirts of Mariupol”, the United Nations Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Ukraine, Osnat Lubrani, said on Twitter.
