Johnson from G7: Ukraine needs weapons


The leaders of the G7 agreed today that the world should intensify financial pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin, in every possible way, Downing Street announced after the video conference of the group of seven most industrialized countries, which was also attended by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Johnson said people “need to do more and move faster” to support Ukraine.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Johnson said Ukraine needed military equipment which “will allow it not only to retain its positions but also to reconquer territories.”

The British Prime Minister also noted that the G7 partners should intensify their diplomatic pressure on those countries that do not exert pressure. on Putin’s war machine. He also agreed with his counterparts that more needs to be done to support agricultural exports from Ukraine and for wider, global food security.
