Wisconsin anti-abortion organization’s office set on fire

The office of an anti-abortion organization in the US state of Wisconsin was set on fire on Sunday. This is reported by Madison City Police. A few days ago, a draft decision from the United States Supreme Court was leaked indicating that the court wanted to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade. This decision constitutionally guarantees the right to abortion in the United States.

Additionally, according to a statement from the anti-abortion organization Wisconsin Family Action, graffiti was left at the office: “If abortions aren’t safe, neither are you.”

According to the organization, a “left-wing anarchist group” is behind the arson, but the police have so far identified no suspects.

Police say a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the building but failed to ignite. She states that it seems that afterwards, in response to this failed attack, a fire started again. However, according to the police, the firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. No one was hurt.
