Apps of the week: your best memories saved forever

A unique word game from the creator of spell tower and solitary flip flops and an app from the Netherlands to save your best memories.

Game creator Zach Gage is back with a new game. Gage did previously spell towerreally bad chess and solitary flip flops, all original games that are simple but still offer a lot of challenges. It’s with keywords no different.

The goal is to put words on a playing field. This field looks like a crossword puzzle, but is divided into blocks like a sudoku. You know exactly which letters should be in which block, but you can only create words by placing the letters in the correct place. It is difficult, because often different words are possible.

The game is free, but with keywords Pro for 5.49 euros per year or 11.99 euros per unit, there are more than thirty additional puzzles to do each month.

Momently wants to make it easier for you to make the most beautiful moments of your life unforgettable. With this new iPhone app from Bert Timmermans you can save trips, places and profiles.

With the profiles of people in your network, you can always find what you’ve been through with that person. This sets the app apart from Apple Photos. You can then link these profiles to a ride that you also save in the app.

Unfortunately, there is currently a limit of ten photos at a time. It forces you to save only the best memories, but it also seems limited.

All your data in the app remains private. This is because the data remains on your device and is only stored as a backup via iCloud. The app costs 1.99 euros once and can then be used without limitation.

The Gekko Uren app wants to make it easy for freelancers to track their time registration. Hours worked can be entered manually per project or you can start a timer while you work.

With the latest version of the application, it is possible to synchronize your calendar with the application. If you enter your hours in Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, you don’t have to enter them in Gekko Hours as well; it’s automatic.

Gekko Hours is part of a set of apps aimed at the same target group, including Gekko Bonnen, Gekko Invoicing and Gekko Ritten. Gekko apps are free and your data will not be shared with third parties. For a fee, you can purchase a subscription with more functions.
