Ukrainian authorities have confirmed that there was a new rocket attack in Odessa.
According to the BBC report, three loud explosions were heard from the city center. The first blast was so powerful that it shattered car windows and triggered alarms.
Authorities have not provided further information.
It is recalled that several air raid sirens were heard in the Ukrainian capital this afternoon.
The city has been largely quiet in recent weeks, following the withdrawal of a majority of Russian troops from Kyiv to focus their efforts east and south.
The sirens warn those in Kyiv to seek refuge, as it could be an impending attack.
