The World Bank will provide Ukraine with $ 200 million a month in salaries


THE The World Bank will pay each month to Ukraine on average the amount of $ 200 million for salaries of civil servants and teachers, while a total of $ 1.5 billion is expected to be given.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Roman Yermolitchev referred to these plans of the World Bank in an interview with the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform.

He assured that the ministry is constantly looking for alternative resources to finance the needs of the state, including the needs of education. “That’s why we are already working with other institutions of government on the joint $ 1.5 billion joint program with the World Bank.”

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Save the Children are also working on a roadmap for the reconstruction of education infrastructure in Ukraine.
