Oil company Aramco overtakes Apple as most valuable company


Apple is no longer the most valuable company in the world by market capitalization. This position was taken up after two years by the Saudi oil group Aramco, reports the BBC

Since the beginning of this year, Apple has lost 20% of its stock market value. The shares of technology funds are less popular, they are increasingly perceived as risky.

Those of energy companies are doing quite well with rising oil and gas prices. Aramco was also the world’s most valuable company in 2020.

Apple was worth $2.37 trillion in the US at the end of yesterday’s session, Aarmaco was worth $2.42 trillion.
