In the new collective labor agreements that were concluded in April, the average wage increase is 3.4%. And according to employers’ organization AWVN, this is the highest level for thirteen years.

“The previous record was immediately after the outbreak of the financial crisis,” according to AWVN. Last month, 26 collective labor agreements were concluded, which apply to 230,000 employees. For, among others, employees of the construction markets.

Since last spring, there has been an upward trend in agreed wage increases. “Due to April’s high average, the average of all wage settlements reached in 2022 is almost 3%.”
