Local rains and rising temperatures

In the southern Ionian, the Peloponnese, the Cyclades and Crete, sparse clouds are forecast at times more dense, with light local rains. In the rest of the country, generally clear weather, in the noon and afternoon hours, however, clouds will develop and mainly in the mountains of Epirus, Macedonia, western Sterea and western Peloponnese, local showers or isolated thunderstorms will occur.

Visibility in the morning and evening in the west will be locally limited.

The winds will blow west northwest 3 to 4 Beaufort and will gradually become variable.

The temperature will rise slightly further and will range in the north from 11 to 29 degrees, in the west from 12 to 29 degrees, in the eastern mainland from 14 to 29 to 30 degrees and in the Aegean islands from 16 to 24 to 25 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA

Weather: Light clouds that will thicken during the noon and afternoon hours.

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 16 to 27 degrees Celsius.

THESSALONIKI

Weather: Generally clear. Local clouds at noon and in the afternoon with a chance of local showers mainly in the surrounding mountains.

Winds: Variable 3, in the afternoon temporarily from south up to 4 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 14 to 27 degrees Celsius.

EUBOEA

Weather: Light clouds that will thicken during the noon and afternoon hours.

Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 14 to 26 degrees Celsius.

FORECAST FOR SATURDAY 14-05-2022

In western and central Macedonia a few clouds are forecast at intervals increased with local rains and possibly isolated thunderstorms mainly in the noon and afternoon hours with improvement from the evening. In the rest of the regions sparse clouds, which in the noon and afternoon hours on the mainland and Crete will thicken and in Epirus, the mountains of eastern Macedonia, Thrace, Sterea, Peloponnese, western Thessaly and Crete will be manifested with local storms.

Visibility in the morning and evening, mainly in the west, will be locally limited.

Meteorological conditions favor the transport of dust to the south.

The winds will be variable and only in the west and south will blow from west directions 3 to 4 and in the southern seas locally up to 5 Beaufort.

The temperature will not change significantly, it will reach 28 to 30 degrees on the mainland and 24 to 25 degrees Celsius on the island.

Weather: Generally clear. Partly cloudy skies in the afternoon so local showers are likely to occur in the north.

Winds: Variable 3 beauforts.

Temperature: From 15 to 27 degrees Celsius.

THESSALONIKI

Weather: A few clouds that will increase at noon in the afternoon and mainly in the surrounding mountains there will be local showers.

Winds: Variable 3, in the afternoon temporarily from south up to 4 Beaufort.

Temperature: From 14 to 27 degrees Celsius.
