Ten dead and three injured in a shooting in the United States with a possible racist motive


At least ten people were killed and three injured Saturday in a shooting in New York state. The alleged shooter has been arrested. He would have a racist motive, report the American media.

Racist motivation

The shooter reportedly broadcast the shooting live on social media Twitch. He is also said to have posted a manifesto of more than a hundred pages, in which he describes himself as an eighteen-year-old convinced of the superiority of whites. He is also said to have anti-Semitic views.

Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown has confirmed that the suspected shooter has been arrested. According to Brown, he came from outside Buffalo and spent hours driving through the neighborhood where mostly black Americans live. Eleven of the thirteen victims are black, authorities report.

The FBI is also investigating the shooting and suspects the alleged shooter of a “hate crime” and “racially motivated violent extremism”.
