Larissa: An ICU patient was trapped in the elevator for over an hour

A big problem with the condition of the elevators of the General Hospital of Larissa seems to have arisen in recent days.

According to the local newspaper “Eleftheria”, an ICU patient had been trapped for more than an hour, as a result of which the Fire Brigade was mobilized to free him, while earlier, the commander of the hospital, Grigoris Vlachakis, had been locked in another elevator.

These two incidents were “the drop that overflowed the glass”, with the commander calling the cooperating company for maintenance in order to give explanations about the condition of the elevators and to explain the daily problems that are observed, while ordering the services of the Hospital to thoroughly check the contract for the quality of the services provided.
