Ukraine: Cereal exports reduced by 55%


These volumes include 689,000 tonnes of corn, 63,000 tonnes of wheat and 21,000 tonnes of barley, according to the data.

The cereals exports to Ukraine decreased by 55.5% in the first 20 days of June compared to the same period in 2021 at 777,000 tonnes, according to data announced today by Ministry of Agriculture.

These tumors include 689,000 tons of corn, 63,000 tons of wheat and 21,000 tons of barleyaccording to the clues.

Ukraine exported to 6 million tonnes of cereals the month before Russia launched its invasion on February 24, which Moscow itself describes as a ‘special military operation’.

Tumors have since decreased to about 1.7 million tons as well as Ukrainewhich used to export most of its products through ports, was forced to transport grain by train across its western border or by river.
