Its strengthening and upgrading defense cooperation for the benefit of Armed forces the two countries and the joint management of the challenges and threats facing Europe as a whole and the Eastern Mediterranean were at the center of the meeting that had, today, Monday, June 20, the Deputy Minister of National Defense Nikos Χαρδαλιάς with his Bulgarian counterpart Jordan Bozilov.
As announced, the meeting took place in the context of N. Hardalias’ two-day visit to Bulgaria.
The meeting, the statement added, reaffirmed the strong and friendly relations between the two countries, a pillar of their common strategy and close cooperation within the European Union and NATO, for security, stability and prosperity in the wider Balkan region.
In addition, the Deputy Minister of National Defense visited the headquarters of the Military Academy “GS Rakovski” where he was welcomed by its commander, Lieutenant General Todor Dochev. N. Hardalias was informed about the organization, the military and academic training programs, while he had a short tour of its facilities.
