A total of 172 cities were included in the ranking, while Kyiv was excluded this year due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Austrian capital won first place in the city of Auckland, New Zealand, which dropped to 34th place due to restrictions on the coronavirus pandemic.

The capital of Austria was followed by the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen and Zurich. Geneva came in sixth, Frankfurt in Germany came in seventh and Amsterdam in the Netherlands came in ninth.
Canada also did well with Calgary in third, Vancouver in fifth and Toronto in eighth respectively. Japan’s Osaka and Australia’s Melbourne shared 10th place. Paris came in 19th place, 23 places higher than last year. Brussels took 24th place, just behind Montreal, Canada.
In this year’s ranking, London was in 33rd place, while Barcelona and Madrid in 35th and 43rd respectively. Italy’s Milan ranked 49th, New York 51st and Beijing 71st.
Beirut, Lebanon, which was devastated by the harbor explosion in 2020 and struggling to overcome a severe economic crisis, was not included in the list of business destinations.
