TUI still perplexed with holidays, Sunweb won’t cancel until mid-August

At the travel agency TUI Netherlands, all public holidays where people fly take place with a TUI flight. The majority of them depart from Schiphol as planned. The tour operator is not yet able to provide details on trips booked with TUI that use an aircraft from Transavia, KLM or another airline.

TUI Netherlands announced it. The organization says it regrets that fewer flights may be operated from Schiphol during the holiday months. “This is a holiday booked much earlier and these people are now in limbo.”

TUI sells holiday trips that use its own aircraft, but also trips that involve flying with KLM, Transavia or other airlines. “We are currently putting together a complicated puzzle,” said a TUI spokesperson.

If the flights are canceled, TUI will look for alternatives, promises the spokesperson.

At the moment the organization can say that all of its own flights continue and the majority of them also depart from Schiphol. This certainly applies to Caribbean vacations. Other own flights may be moved to other airports.

Limited group of Sunweb holidaymakers from another airport or day

Sunweb announced that travel booked through the Sunweb, Eliza was here, GOGO and Primavera brands will continue for departure through August 14. A limited group of travelers will depart from another airport or have to travel on another day.

During the Sunweb holidays, Transavia flies, it is not yet known what this company will do with flights after mid-August.
