The woman gave birth normally

The end of the adventure that a pregnant woman who had a coronavirus disease was going through with her health was positive and gave birth to a healthy baby.

This woman, is the first given to her monoclonal antibodies in the third trimester of her pregnancy and according to the head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic Dimitris Balaxis, both the mother and the newborn are in very good health.

Mr. Balaxis said:

“I and my colleagues at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of Serres Hospital feel happy and satisfied for the happy ending of the adventure of the first pregnant woman to whom we administered monoclonal antibodies in the third trimester of pregnancy after Covid-19 disease.

She gave birth with a normal birth this morning. Mother and newborn are in excellent health. We are optimistic that in a second case where we applied the same treatment we will have the same development. I want to thank the medical and nursing staff of the clinic for their participation in dealing with these incidents “.
