Co-education of Special Operations units in Greece and the USA


Co-training between Special Operations units of Greece and the USA, with the participation of personnel from units of the Special Warfare Command (DEP) and the School of Paratroopers and personnel and aircraft MC-130J of the 352 Special Operations Wing of the USA was conducted from Thursday, December 2 to Wednesday, December 8.

As announced today by the General Staff of National Defense (GEETHA), during the joint training, free-range and static belt paratroopers were dropped, as well as supplies on land and sea, in order to increase the level of understanding, exchange of know-how and interoperability. design and execution of Special Operations.

The activity, it is added in the announcement, is part of the planning of GEETHA regarding the constantly upgraded and multilevel military cooperation of the Armed Forces of the two countries, in order to jointly promote the level of operational readiness of the participants at bilateral and allied level.
