Germany – Cases and deaths on the rise


The confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 in Germany increased by 16,086 in the previous 24 hours, reaching 6,809,622, according to data released today, Monday, by the Robert Koch Institute, the country’s epidemiological surveillance body.

There were also 119 new deaths of patients due to coronavirus complications, increasing the number of pandemic victims in the country to 108,352 to date.

With quarantine and negative test, the entry of British travelers to Germany

Two-week quarantine from today to travelers from Britain

As of Monday, Germany, as already announced, imposes a two-week quarantine on travelers from Britain and a negative test for their entry into the country.

Excludes German citizens or foreigners permanently residing in Germany.

The measure came into force at midnight and applies to all means of transport.
